SYE output shaft

Trying to install the RE SYE. Shaft is cut, hole is drilled and tapped. The SYE does not want to go on the shaft. I ordered for the 242. Instructions for this one are for the 231. Are the output shafts different? Help please.

The shafts themselves are different but the splines(kit)are the same.Make sure you deburr and chamfer the shaft.

Thanks for the reply. So if I run a file in all the groves, it will go on? It is the right part?

There has been alot of threads about how hard the flange is to get on.You may also want to try heating the flange in the oven to about 200*,that should help!
