Bald August 3rd ....

Are some of you guys ganna mess around on bald for sure that sunday??? If so about what time?? I am ganna be back home in fresno that weekend and want to see everyone and play around up there. Hopefully some people are staying. ANd are you ganna be playing in the morning??

we will be completing a run sunday from swamp lake... and returning back to dinkey on rock creek rd. if time avails we will run bald sun afternoon.

Well I wont be getting into fresno until friday night. And well, my XJ was equiped, but the guy that bought it from me drove it to his home in clovis today. :( But I am still a member and ganna build one as soon as I am out of school. But Bald is my back yard almost literally. And me and all my buddies are ganna be there saturday afternoon till sunday around noon.

Which way are you coming out of Swamp?? Are you going from top to dinkey road? or vise versa? Whichever way you are going, we could probly go in the opposite way and say hi then turn around and finish with you guys.

we're going to run it backwards...starting at the lower end and finishing at the dinkey wilderness area at top. we're spending fri and sat nite at grouse lake. if your still mainly stock....do not attempt! unless you have sierra aaa!!!

LOL no the guys ill be running with most likely are VERY far from stock. I wont even be driving, just seeing my mountains again. I will talk to them and see if we can rush from the bottom to grouse lake, since that seems to be a little easier since most of its up. Then if you guys think that we could be out of the trail by noon, I can leave from the top straight to Shaver lake the back way.

You think that there is more than a good chance of getting that last part done in the morning?? Or are yall ganna hang around in the morning?

I figure we'll be out of camp Sunday morning no later than 9:00, which shouldn't be a problem since we'll have been there two nights. Some will have a long drive home, and some will run Bald Mtn that afternoon, so no reason to leave camp late.

We are running from Grouse Lake north to Dinkey Lakes trailhead Sunday morning. I wouldn't count on being to the end of the trail by noon, no way to predict how things will go, especially with a large group......larger if you're group joins us. If you had time, you could drive in to meet us coming out, but it sounds like we'll be too late for your time schedule. We'll be running Bald mid to late Sunday afternoon.
