Worse mialage after o2 sensor

I replaced my o2 sensor before the cat on my 96 and im getting a lot worse mialage.. I was getting about 210 per tank before but now im getting around 150. I went back under and made sure everythings all tight and good. it is.

I was hoping to get this set before saturday because i have to drive 400 miles

any ideas for me?

Helix, why did you replace the O2 sensor; did you have a CEL or code show up?

My first guess is that there's a poor connection to the O2 sensor, or you got a bad one out of the box (not uncommon).....

Try unplugging the battery for a while and then turning the key to on for a few min to reset the PCM.
