Rough Idle

I have a strange problem it only happens when the engine is hot, I will stop and run into a store for a few minutes then start my 89 xj and it will misfire at idle,if I rev the engine it will not clear, untill I drive off with a heavy foot then it is fine .
things replaced
cap and roter
plugs
wires
new cat
egr valve
I passed smog with flying colors

take off your throttle body and clean up all the sensors, such as the idle air controller and throttle position sensor.

DO NOT CLEAN THE TPS
Cleaning the TPS will ruin it. It is not sealed and this is a major cause of defective TPS's
