i need to lift my rear end a little, about 1-2 inches. i've got RE 4.5 springs and stock shackles right now. i read RE shackles are only about 3/4" lift, so they are out. i also hear that despite being short RE shackles are pretty well thought out and have good clearances. i am looking at JKS dog-leg shackles.
let me know if those are worth considering. and any others i should look at?

Rusty sells a pair of 1.5" shackles.
Thats the longest I'd recommend using.

ORGS/JKS Dog Leg Shackle will only give you about 1/2" of lift. They are made to flex, not really lift. I have them, they are great for what they do. Juice

look on ebay for the chevy ones. You can usually get them for around $35.00. They will give yo a minimum of 2 inches. Most have 2 sets of holes for like 2 or 2 1/2 inches, or you can drill your own holes to fine tune. Just cut off the excess when you're done so you dont have a rock hook hanging down on each side.
Beltech is one brand I can think of right now.
