If it were up to me, I wouldn't either . . . But that's all I have the $$ for.

Could possibly go with this one (http://roughcountry.com/Jeep_XJ_3in.htm), and upgrade shocks and get the stabilizer.

LMK which is better and what else I would need.

the way I see it, you will save the money now, but the cost for shackles or blocks will eat that up. Maybe not totally, but enough. Is this a DD? If so, I hear that RC has a pretty rough ride.

I had to wait a few months to save money also (proud student of FAU, Find Another University), but now I have the Rubicon Express Super Flex Kit with full springs. You could go with the Super Ride though.
