Hey Im wanting to build a desert cherokee. I'm thinking of going with a 4.5 inch lift with 33s and fiberglass front fenders. Willthis be good for mild speeds in the desert? Im a high school student so it'll see the highway 75% of the time but the other 25% will be off the road.

what are your intentions again? Are you talking about wheeling it more of a desert racer like Jeepspeed? If thats what you are thinking of doing than go to www.jeepspeed.com and do some research there. 4.5" may be good but alot of other issues need to be addressed like bracing and trussing of the axles.

no racing just a little fun duning and blasting down poll roads and such. I have a chrysler 8.25 Im gonna truss up. Im probably gonna truss the Dana 30 too.
