Okay, I have some questions.

Is the 4.0 (non-HO) with manual transmission a rare option ? How many were made ? What tranny ?

People claim the 4.0 HOs have horsepower, ranking from 180 to 198 dependent on what year it was made. True ? What will a '91 have ?

When did the XJs get a fully galvanized body ?

What transfercase will a '91 4.0 Limited have ? What is the most desired XJ TC ?

And how about the rear axle ? D35c or Chrysler 8.25 ? What do you guys prefer ? Lastly, what gearing will the axles likely have ?

What exactly does the Limited-trim consist of ?

Thanks.:viking:

4.0s with a manual tranny aren't rare or hard to find, but you don't see them as much. The most desired t-case is iffy. Some say they like the 242, but most people like the 231. The 8.25 is much better than a D35, but if you do get a D35, you can stick some stronger shafts in it and not worry about it much.
