Just got the Inner knuckles setup on my Front D44 and had some questions regarding the front bracketry. I am going to be using the RE Bracketry. I have read many posts regarding the pinion angle and the castor angles which I already have set. Do the coil mounts get setup straight up, or do they need to be set to line up with the castor angle???

Personally I would follow the bracket setup on your D30. Use adjustable control arms to adjust the pinion angle.

I turned the inner knuckles on the axle tubes to set the castor and pinion so no worries there. Just curious about the coil spring mounts and upper and lower control arm mounts.

I'd set the axle on a pair of stands and raise the pinion to the angle it will be operating at when in the vehicle. Then attach the mounts perfectly horizontal/straight up. Hope that reads clearer than it sounds.

I set my coil buckets parallel with the ground when the pinion is pointed where it would be at ride height. Worked out pretty well, haven't had an issues.

I have heard both ways, set it parallel to the ground or set it in-line with the knuckle castor. Just wanted to see what the general consensus was.
