Header Break in?

I've never done it before, but I was thinking, is there a break in period for headers? I managed to develope a crack in the weld on my Thorley header and got it replaced and now I'm wondering if I should do anything to break it in? Also, do any of you think I can reuse my old header/manifold bolts? And the instructions say to use O2 sensor safe RTV and I've never done that...should I? Thanks.

I have never heard of a header break in procedure. One thing I always do after installing a new header is get the motor hot and up to operating temperature and then let it cool back to normal temp. Then retorque the bolts holding the header on. I have yet to have a problem with a header leaking and I have done at least 5 header installs on various Jeep 4.0L motors.
