Hey Joe,
runs the same, still purrs like a sick kitten! I've started it up once every few weeks since last winter. It will start every time no problem as long as I stick to the start protocal (open gas cap to vent tank, then reclose, turn ignition to on paying attention to fuel pump noise, repeat 4 more times and follow through to start in a smooth natural motion on the last turn)
Trail? I don't know when Jeff, it could be a while (as time and sweet deals on parts may tell) but some testing might have to come soon - plenty left to do. I wonder about just throwing gears and a locker in back, leaving it 2wd for a while and having some fun...
Here is the latest from today.

using the quick and clean fender to center method, it's at approx 5" of bolt on lift from what it was (18" front, 19+" rear) now 23" front, 24" rear. The front is OME934's and two inch puck, for the rear they made new spring pads today to bring it more level and re-use the stock shock mount. The YJ bolt on SOA pads fit perfect but had it at almost 7" lift in back and left it w/out bolt on shock mounts. Next up, Looking at sourcing 6" springs to match the YJ pads :yelclap: and control arm issues.

About time for some more progress.
Drop brackets fitted.

And a little something to go up front!

I'd like to clean this bumper up (though it isn't bad) Also I just scored a free ARB bull bar for my XJ that needs some TLC, as well as my old bumper to clean up and sell....Anyone know where to get some bumpers sandblasted?

The Powder Keg is who did mine. They are owned and located next to Metal Craft trailers. They sand blasted, then burned off the rest, and did my powder coating. It has all held up very well.

Try calling PowderWorks (old 4Plus guys) in SLC, they have a nice setup but the blasting is in ??
Last place I used was on 900 W and 19th-ish south.....funky little shop, don't recall the name.

:) where's Mapleton again?
powdercoating is taken care of so just need the blasting, shouldn't cost to much I imagine?

Hummm; as a bare minimum for IC on the Rocks trail runs it needs a CB radio, locker and gears installed in the rear, tires (cheap used 33's and spare), and a power steering conversion, how much time is left?

South of Springville. They do Ornamental Iron rails and fences also. Their quality is excellent. I might be able to take it down or pick it up for you because I go up to heber valley quite a bit. PM to work something out.

It was $300 new, I'm thinking half that, will have to see what cleaning it up will cost or if I want to offer it as is for cheap.

Well get some prices on sand blasting them, and then I'll do it for cheaper if you want me to. My shop is in Ogden on 12th.

Thanks for all the info.
Looks like passxj's offer will work out the best logisticly speaking for the bull bar and MJ bumper.
Joe, go ahead and give me Tonya's #, if the price is right... (Iv'e got wheels coming out of my ears, only need tires) - black wheels would look good on her though. Thanks for "peeping" from the closet!
Bryon, get busy man! I only say ummmm, because I've got a list of things to do to the XJ before the week after EJS (going to Moab with friends that weekend too)
JeepZZ, part of me wants the MJ to look as good as your Limo and paint it all white, but I think I'm sticking to a (cheap) black and white theme for now. Maybe down the road when I'm ready for 35's, get some D44's, bushwackers, 97+ front clip, and paint it all to match. Hummm Comanche Renegade...
