Hi All,

I bought an engine stand which is rated for 1000 pounds. I want to put a 4.0 I-6 engine with head installed on this stand. Think it will hold?

Yes.

without a doubt it will, a full 4.0 is around 600-700 lbs i believe.
only problem is being the 4.0 is such a long motor the stand can tip forward if the legs are'nt long enough or sturdy enough.

Thanks.. Guess I better go measure the motor. I think the legs are long enough but I'll check.
