rear end whine??

i have a basically stock 96 xj... i have 125k miles.....the rear end whines at low speeds...could it be a wheel bearing? (the is ample fluid in the rearend)...any ideas or suggestions?

Ring and pinion whine will usually come in at about 45 mph and very light throttle. Any other noise is probably a bearing.

edit: I see you're from Texas, where a Jeep has a rear end and a front rear end.
This is in the back of the vehicle right?
