When are we doing Dusey? Is it this month. What about the other trails above Sac. Fordyce etc. Other than Aug.1-3 I am open most weekend through the end of summer.

We're running Dusy Aug 14-17.

This trip will require at least one locker, 32's, and rock rails. Anyone with 260x front axle joints or a D35 needs to carry spare axles.

I wonder how many are planning to go?

I am going. And I will check to make sure all my bolts are tight. Richard should I replace the weld job before going. Just kidding already took care of that.

Did you have fun removing that track bar? :D

Actually I cut the drop bracket off with a sawzaw, was no problem at all. I kept the welded part for show and tell.

Amy and I will definitely be coming on this trip. I'm going to try to talk her into driving a little (yeah, right, after 6 months in Nepal and not driving ANYTHING!)

I've got spare front shafts, spare steering, four new Wrangler MT's with the full replacement warranty (nice tires, can't wait to see how they hook up compared to my tired old BFG's), and yes, even working ARB's (knock on wood). Lots of tire plugs left over from the Rubicon. Anything else that would be a good idea? Also, where can I get the 297 u-joints? My local Kragen doesn't stock them. Looking forward to this trip!

Scott, it's best to get the Spicer joints, the new ones are 760x, same size as 297x. Find a place that stocks Spicer parts, like a driveline shop, off road shop, or any GM dealership. You can also get them mail order from most of the 4x4 drive train vendors.

See you in a month,

Mil has volunteered to cook dinner one night on our trip, we just need to chip in a few bucks each. How does that sound? He also wondered if we want to do a pot luck dinner on another night. I think that's a good idea, sound good to you?
