33's on 4.5 lift?

I have an 89 MJ with 4.5 inches of lift. My buddy has a set of 33 x 12.5's. After lifting my vehicle, tires (235/75 15's) magically shrunk. Should I go get the freebies? How much cutting ect. will I need to do? If I get them, I plan on buying some offset wagon wheels. If not, I have always liked BF Goodrich AT's (31 x 10.5). Any suggestions? Does anyone have a similiar set up with 33's?

Also, any pics of 31 x 10.5's on an MJ with 4.5? Or 33's on an MJ with 4.5? I just do not want to get over my head with cutting. I also don't want to get 31's and they look small. Any help would be appreciated.

I have 33x12.5x15's on a XJ with 8x15 with 3.75 BS rims. I have 4.5" of lift.

Works great, I have trimmed with YJ flares but I could make it work with the stock flares and cut everything out from under them if I wanted to run larger bump stops.

Should be much easier on a MJ.
