has anyone run without dust shield ..is it Ok??

I had my front axle out recently and it fell off the jack stands and bent the crap out of both of the shields ..


Does anyone here run without em??

whats are the down sides to not haven em in??

ive run without them in the past. those love to rust-off here in new england. i saw no daownside to it but i wast concerned about excess dust on the wheels so i never noticed.

Run with out them in the pacific nw. Always seemed to trap rocks and mud behind them. No problems.

I haven't had them on my D44 since I put it in 2 years ago, no problems....
