With the help of muy good Naxja friend EAGLE, i got the 31 tooth speedo gear. When firts installed, went for a testing ride and speedometer did not move and yellow engine light turned on. I disarmed it and rotate it a little bit and went for a second test ride. Good news speedometer worked but engine light kept on.
Do I need to go to a service so they connect it to the computer reader?
Can I drive with no damaging danger?
Thanks from Chile

try disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes. Not sure if this works on the later models though, just a suggestion, John

also after a certain number of times starting the jeep without any sensor problems it should go away on its own.
I had my ehhaust system out and the O2 sensors disconnected.
When I put it all back together the "CHECK ENGINE" light came on. After I think 7 "clean" starts it went out.
Disconnecting the battery is probably the quickest, but if you don't want to loose memory here is another way.

Thanks to everyone. Problem was solved by disconnecting battery for one minute.
Now I can realize that I was enjoying too much driving 10 miles over the speed limit.
hahah

Did you check the new gear for accuracy? How close is it now to Andrea's speedometer?
