I replaced my o-rings, both on the injectors and on the both lines that run to the fuel rail. I then put everything back together only to hear a hissing noise.
The noise was fuel seeping through the electrical connection on the injector side, first injector closest to the nose panel.
BTW this has been the problem injector for me, #1 is why i'm in this mess anyways.
I put in a different injector, put everything back in its place, turned the key one click.....no leaks. Cranked it up and started it, fuel was slowly seeping out of that injector again.
What should I do?
Is it possible that the fuel rail is to blame? BTW i'm not using new injectors, but i've got a handful of XJ OEM's. This is the third injector that has done this. Is it just bad luck?
I swear, i'd buy new injectors if the money was right. I have $41 right now, no credit, no anything.
I need some advice. Please.
