I moved my battery to the rear of my jeep and put the filter on the fender wall. I really like it, you might want to check out the summit kit. It has a spot for a tranny temp gauge if you want to use one.

Fuax4x4, how did you address the rewiring?
I have a winch and a few other items that are directly attached to my yellow top Optima. Did you use a junction "box", run everything to the rear, or what?

I just ran 4ga from my battery up to the front of the jeep, poped through the fire wall at the gromet by the heater. And then bolted(getto fab) the power wire from the back to the two stock wires. I saw a guy with a wench do it and he used like 2ga wire.

It's a good idea, but does any one have other suggestions besides battery relocation?
