Weight of engine

In anticipation of having to do a rebuild/ stroker one day, how heavy is the 4.0 HO engine block? Alternatively, how much weight should I anticipate to load onto an engine stand when rebuilding an engine? I don't want to buy a stand, only to find it break on me!!

Buy a stand that can take at least 1000 pounds and you'll be fine. IIRC, the 4.0L (fully dressed) is about 530 lbs.
