Electric Fan ???

I noticed that my fan wont turn on without AC running.Is there a relay or sensor that I should be checking?I changed radiator hoses and in process of getting system burped I heated it up to almost redline and the fan never kicked on until I turned AC on.

87-90 are usualyy caused by a partially plugged radiator. The temp switch for it is on the left radiator tank near the bottom. You simply turn on the key to run, unplug the switch, jumper the harness side with a wire between the terminals, and it should turn the fan on.
