97 Oil pressure sender

Are there two oil pressure senders on 97's? I swapped a 97 motor in my 91 and reused my old sender (doesn't work well) as I didn't know which type my new motor has. I have gauges and don't want to torch the gauge using the wrong sender.

Two senders on all years -- one is an off/on switch for the models with idot lights, the other is a progressive resistance unit for the models with gauges.

can you tell the difference by looking at them? is the "gauge" sender the bigger one?
