9" section detail dwg. ?

In an effort to save myself some time (efficient not lazy) I thought I'd ask first. What I need is a section detail for a nine inch rear housing in a dwg. file. I want to do some head scratching with AutoCAD for a couple of ideas I have. It's not that I can't lay it out, it's that I'd like to save the couple of hours it takes to get it gnats a$$ on even though it doesn't need to be. My head, I can't make it stop!
