My boss has this problem with his grand. he has a timer thats suppost to shut off his lights after a time but its not doing it right now. any ideas?

Shut them off by hand? :dunno:

That's usually a timer module of some sort - they can either fail "closed" (lights stay on) or fail "open" (lights don't stay on.)

Fix? Replace the module. I'm assuming, of course, that the headlamps work normally otherwise.

same problem on my xj- my solution: turn the lights off before I turn the key off- otherwise they stay on til the battery dies.
