XJ Noobs guide (link)

Sorry if this is a repost, I did search before posting...
This is a link to another site. I hope no one take offense, Im not a member there, I just beleive in sharing the love of Jeeps no matter the resource.

I myself am an XJ noob, and found this info to be very helpful. I hope some other noobs find it helpfull too, theres a lot of common questions already answered there!

I'd say 'no' to that. Although it is a starting point there are plenty of places that the info provided should be expounded on. Otherwise, it seems they are providing the absolutes...and the only absolute when it came to building Cherokees is that there are no absolutes.

"What engines did the XJ come with?
1984 - 1986 - Carbureted 2.5L 4-cylinder or 2.8L GMV6
1987 - 1991 - Fuel Injected 4.0L inline 6cylinder or 2.5L 4cylinder
1992 - 2001 - Fuel Injected 4.0L HO (High Output) inline 6cylinder or 2.5L 4cylinder"

Hmmm,
I thought my 91 had the HO.

I think it'd be a good Idea to have a sticky thread with links to the most frequently ask questions and write-ups on the most common mods.
