Alignment or something else?

The inside of the rear driverside tire seems to be wearing at an alarming rate...to the point where about 1/3 of a new tire is gone in about 500 miles. Its only from the innerside of the tire about an inch, maybe an inch and a half torwards the center. None of the other tires are doing anything of the sort and it goes down the road straight. What might the problem be?

Get an alignment. If you have a mechanical problem, they will be able to tell you what is failing. If you want to repair it yourself, you can decline further work by them. If their is no mechanical problem other than it just needs and alignment (every 30,000 miles), you will be good to go.

All we can do is give you 20 different things to look at which may not be what the problem is.

Quit flooring it and doing one-wheel burnouts when you turn right.
