does anyone know if you can put wj-zj rear disks on a 87 xj d44. will they bolt in ? has anyone done this before ? i have to chang over all the brakes on the d44 so i might as well upgrade to some disks . any links would be helpfull also . cheers

It's doable, it's not a bolt on.
WJ's have a difference bolt pattern than XJ's, ZJ's.
I'd sputter on about how good the drum brakes on the 44 are, but since I swapped one into my 90, my brakes have sucked worse than the 35 it replaced.

you have to redrill the caliper bracket to match the XJ 44's axle flange bolt pattern. 90s Ford Crown Vic rear discs are a direct swap to an XJ 44.
