View Full Version : I appologize...

I figure since no one else will, I be the adult here.
I have learned from my mistake :anon: .....I appologize for posting non-topic pertinent information and I wont do it again. BUT, I am not the only one, so back off a little.
I especially think name calling is a bit childish. I think some people need to go home and cry about it.
If you have a problem with me, tell me in a private message. I don't think compaining, calling names, and making fun of someone else ride is necessary.
If i could, I would take back what I posted, but it is a little too late now.

Hopefully, those who attack me for what I posted will be man enough to appologize as well. I realize I should learn to keep my OPINIONS about OTHERS (their rigs, and what they say) to myself, unless it is an OPINION wanting topic.
I appologize.....

It isn't "off-topic" to tactfully suggest that an obviously way-too-high price is unrealistic, but you'll have to admit that you do seem to have a habit of bashing asking prices pretty regularly. The Classified forums are not intended as discussion forums -- they are intended as a medium to connect sellers with potential buyers. As was mentioned in one of the threads you linked, if you're not interested simply move on.

Like I said before, I realize what I did wasn't right. But I still don't appreciate being bashed by other members of the forum even still (as I write this). And what is JU? If apparently I should go there, so should a few other people. I was told about this site from a local jeep club. They said the people here were "really good" people with "good information on cherokees." And yes, those are direct quotes. While the second part of that quote has held true, I now believe the first part is not. I am not saying that most, heck, probably 98% of the people have been very nice, but some of the people here don't seem to be good. I realize that by typing that, I may get a few more negative responses, but I did not do anything to warrant bashing by people OTHER THAN the 3 topic starters to whom I replied.

Beezil's got a point there...I'm not going to get into the whole topic you linked up there since I wasn't involved. But to stay out of any issues I'd first keep from doing that (which you already said you'd be doing, which is good, you realized yoru error), and then just don't take the bait for flames. When people flame you on teh internet don't start a war, just turn around and walk away, nobody's going to think you're a weaker person for that.
Also...don't take things to heart to quickly, sometimes we'll all say things that sound pretty harsh but in all honesty we're just busting your balls (I do that sometimes, I try my best to make it apparent by the tone that I'm just playing around, but sometimes I fail and somebody thinks I'm being mean).
Anyway, I'll step down here and all that...

I will not apologize for calling you out. No chance. Leds XJ, for example, is a feat of engineering that I doubt you could even comprehend. A 2001 XJ is a collectors item, at least to us. Just because you apologized for being an ass and pretending to know something you obviously do not, don't expect everyone else to want to kiss and make up for slapping your hand. Personally, I would have cut it off. No offense, chief, but someone who's mod list consists of headlights and a cd box has no f'ing business telling someone who has spent years perfecting and tuning their rig what they ought to be asking for it. Do more reading, and less typing. My $1.73.
Edit: JU is www.jeepsunlimited.com , check it out.

Beezil is right,
this is a free country you can have an opinion and express it but when you do you have to except that others may not think the same way, so if you stick it out and it gets hit, either don't stick it out or grow a thicker skin so it won't hurt.
This thread looks like “a waste of bandwidth” but it isn’t, well now i have posted on it, it is.
bgcntry72 you were flamed for your M.O.R.E thread and didn’t like it.
imma honky has the right to post his opinion even if others think it’s wrong.
Now to get down off my soap box before I fall off or get hit by flying veggies.

Who said I didn't like it?
THANK YOU, SIR, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER?
I have lived in this state for less than 6 months, they don't send you a cheesehead hat until the 1 year mark.
Cheers.

LOL @ PhatXJ
Guys, come on... the guy apologized. Agree or disagree... that takes guts. No need to further continue the agony.
It is not a pissing contest of Mod's to the Jeep. Lets all play nice, and graciously accept the humble apology.
