Rattling from transfer case area

It's hard to explain the noise, almost like plastic against plastic.....but every now and then there will be this rattling noise coming from around my 4wd shifter. If i grab hold of the shifter and/or jiggle it the rattle will go away.....

this gets annoying on days when it rattles a lot, how can i get it to stop?

Your Transfer Case linkage might need adjusting/tightening
