So I just bought the Daystar budget lift off ebay for $100ish.
I got it so I can put my 30's on and not rub (some say 30's wont rub at stock height, but I see rub marks in the wells from the previous owner, and the lift was cheap, so i bought it)
The lift has 1 3/4" spacers for the front and a 1" shackel for the rear. Will the difference in sizes make it look like I have heavy stuff in my trunk and make it not sit level? If I need it, one of the machinests at work said he could make me some blocks to level it out. I'm just curious if I'll be sitting level or not.

depends on how old/saggy your leafs are

I would'nt worry about adding blocks, bad for the springs.
I have the same kit with weak rear springs :( and run 31's. It sits near level. (I switch tires with the other XJ for wheeling. 30's)
Here is a pic with the 31's.........

with the 30's............

I know the Jeeps not sitting REAL level, but hope that helps. http://www.bitbenderforums.com/vb22/images/smilies/xyxthumbs.gif
Here is 1 more. There is a TJ that blocks the back part of my XJ, but look at the body lines and compare them, that might help ya out.

Its a bigger pic than the rest so I did not post it.
BTW....
I never rubbed anywhere when I was running 30's and no lift.

Looks good, thanks for the pics.
My Flowmaster 50 series and Magnaflow high flow cat are going on tomorrow, and the BFG AT 30's are going on Saturday. If the Daystar kit is here by Friday that will be in this weekend as well. I'm go giddy, I can't wait!

No problem, you get the one with the greasable shackles?

No I didn't unfortunatly. I couldnt find those ones on ebay so I just bought the non-greasable ones (i think). The Jeep squeaks, rattles and clunks enough as it is, one more noise in the mix wont bother me.

When you put the shackles on ....... expect to have to http://www.texas4x4.org/images/smilies/hack.gif a little off your tailpipe to clear the shackles.
