xjla rear pinion angle

this question is really for all those that have installed a re 5.5 xjla kit on their jeep. I have just purchased this kit and while reading the instructions i noticed that the pinion angle is to be at -2* and may require the use of shims. has anybody had to use shims or does the angle become -2* after the lift is installed?

they tell you -2* because of the axle wrap. You will have to get the lift on and then install shims to dial in you pinion. May I suggest RE steel shims that bolt to the Pack. Alum. shims suck arse if you know what I mean

i understand that if its not right that i ll have to add shims, i'm wondering if any one who has this kit has had to do that or if everything lined up right. if a lot of people have to shim the axle i might as well go get some before i figure out i need them.
