Back when I was in my electric fan phase, I yanked the belt fan and just put both electric fans on one toggle switch - no temp sensor. The temp sensor that came with the flex a lite fan was a probe that you stuck in the radiator hose and you could adjust the temp that the fan went on at. The toggle only worked for me. I have to admit, the increase in horsepower and accelleration was really noticeable without the belt fan.
