Weekend of 1 and 2 Oct. *RUN*

I wanna run really bad, dont care if its close or far, would like to do an overnighter for the kids, would also like to beat the 2 rigs, should have Jeans on 35's by then, anyone not doing FF that still wants to get out and do somethin like snakes, Little M, etc?

American Fork area? Steamboat springs? anyone?

Not an overnighter but I was planning on heading up to Big Elk in the Uintas on the 2nd. It's about a 6 mile trail one way...not the most challenging trail out there but it'll still jar your kiddneys loose. Last time I did it was a couple of years back and I've heard the trail has gotten even more rough. I think it took me like 2 hours up and 2 back...will most likely take all day (especially since I plan to do some end of the summer fishing).
