:wave: Who as broken thier drive shafts at the cv? Not including the joints themselves just the cv, whether used on the front or rear.

I posted in modified because I figure more have probably busted on modified rigs, if not I am sorry for not posting in the wrong forum.

If you are referring to a double cardan, then yes many have broken the center "collar, including myself and most recently Kid4lyf at Carnagefest.

Won't find too many CV driveshafts on XJs.

Now that I think of it, Kid broke the ball joint of the DC assy.

ive killed 2 "double Cardan" joints on stock spicer front shafts...

bad pinion angle and lack of grease killed the first
forgetting to strap the pinion u-joint to the yoke killed the 2nd - and the NP231...
