I just installed a 1982 waggy dana 44 in my xj. I need some spare axle shafts.

I plan on hitting the yards and ebay to look for some today.

:helpme: My ? is what other years of waggy's would be the same as an 82 waggy 44 or what other models might have the same 44. This is a driver side drop but, I am sure that you guys would know this.

there, I took out all the 70s info you don't need. the long side is 32.12in, the short side is 15.8" and the stub shafts are 9.94". All measured from the end of the splines to the middle of the u-joint.

also, disregard Warn cutting the date off at 1984, the driver's drop Waggys continued until I think '91, and the shafts remain the same.

Like I said; ALL driver's drop are the same, except the short side inner on the disconnect version.

 Awsome, guys. I found two axles at one junk yard. I just need to talk them into seperating one of the axles so I can get the axle shafts.

I think that one of them is a 1985 and the other is a 1987. Both non-disconnect driver side drop.

Thanks again.

Johnson Valley is in southern California and the home of the Hammers trails. I anticipate breakage.
