Bushwacker Flares with Safari Snorkel?

Search doesnt seem to be working for me, i remember a thread showing pics of this combo.

Just bought a set of used Bushwackers and i'll need to trim them to fit around my snorkel.

Also, reading Jason's writeup over at Jeepin.com he mentions the inner lip lost him uptravel. Anyone have any problems with trimming the inner lip off?

I'm currently running 6.5" lift/33" BFG's with factory 00 flares (on a 94) and will need more clearance for a set of 35" Krawlers (on 2nd set of 4"BS wheels) i'll be picking up for wheeling tires. Anyone see any problems with what i'm looking to accomplish?

Either mount the snorkel higher, or trim the flares to sit on top of it.
