Here it is, NAXJA's donation drive for katrina's victims.
This is a joint effort between all the NAXJA members and forum users to raise some money for Katrina victims.
NAXJA is taking donations which will go to the Red Cross and NAXJA will DOUBLE those donations taken in up to $2000.00!
What to do:
Find all the loose change and sell all the parts that have an inch of dust on them just sitting in the pile in your garage. Then collect it all and send it to NAXJA to be given to the Red Cross.
Two ways to send it:
1. Use our PAYPAL account at rescue@naxja.org. Make sure to mark a note saying "For Katrina's victims"
This will be money donated through NAXJA's name. There will be no tax benefit for the sender.
2. Make a check out to the "American Red Cross" and send it to:
NAXJA
c/o Dan Riggs
P.O.Box 512
Lawrenceburg, TN
38464-0512
This will give you the ability to have whatever tax advantages you can have donating to the American Red Cross directly.
Don't forget this is a way all of us at NAXJA to come together and help out our community. It will give us something to work towards as a group. I would love to match every dollar offered from NAXJA to send off to the Red Cross to help. We know everyone has other places to donate through but we would hope you will give a little through NAXJA also.
I'm going to keep the Nontech copy of this open so everyone can post up what they are going to send in. This will give us a tally of what NAXJA is doing for a total for all to see. Don't discuss anything else in the thread except for your donation.
