torque frnt hub with axle loaded or not?

Getting ready to replace front hub assembly on my '89. Axle nut is to be torqued to 175 ft/lbs, but is that with it weighted on the ground or suspended on an axle stand. Not sure if it matters, but it seems to when torquing wheel lug nuts.

Doesn't matter but it might be easier with the tire on and sitting on the ground.

Hell I dont bother with the torque wrench, just snug em up with the reg wrench and its much easier with the tire off!
