View Full Version : Bushwhacker flares...need advice mounting

I'm trying to mount my Bushwhacker flares on the rear end and can't figure out how they go on. Can anybody help ? A pix would be great! Thanks. Email pix to jriggs@lorettotel.net

Need more info. 4 door? 2 door? Have you cut the fenders out yet? Please be a little more specific,and I'm sure lots of folks will chime in to help ya out! Welcome to NAXJA! :D

I had no problem what so ever installing my Bushwackers - Only trick is to trim a little at a time till they fit nicely.. good luck

see the gap between the rear flare and the small cover piece?
this allows for the flare that is attached to the door to fit in there and let the door close,, i cut that gap,, about 3/8" off the cover piece.

I held the flare up to the molding and marked a line, then cut it with a hack saw,, then pryed it off wiht a flathead screw driver..
