Mile Marker Winch and Hitch Cradle

Hi. Just received a mile marker 8000 lb winch and their hitch mounted cradle that is specified for it. Well, the mount is such that the electric box won't fit where they intedn it to fit.

I suppose I could do some fabrication and relocate the box and/or the winch on the cradle, barrign any good solution from Mile Marker (none so far) but am wondering if anyone on the list has seen this problem. And solved it?

I bulit my own cradle..didn't have that problem.

But I think they must expect you to remount the electric box somewhere else (underhood maybe), but there are not many choices for where on an XJ.

Yeah, I'm thinking of hitting the welding store and get some stinger wire and connectors and making breakaways for the front and rear anyhow.
