long arms

If I want to build a set of long arms should I find a set of upper control arms that are adjustable.
I want to make a set similar to clayton off road ones
If so what type should I look for is for how much lift??

I like the RE arms nice and beefy ..plus if you ever decide to sell em the resale is good on em.
I had a set of teraflex for a while .. good arms for the price

I did end up making my lowers a fixed length for simpicity sake..and strenght issues..
and for all the trouble I went through to fab the uppers I should have just bought The RE arms..
I think that the Tera's extend a little farther than RE
