ya because i got a new squeek after i hamered on my 30 and it sounds like its coming from the axle shaft but its not the wheel bearing or the UV joint so i guess thats what it is

Yup. Messed up a new drivers side Dana replacement (busted the old one). It popped most of the clips so I pulled it to replace the u-joint and found it has also twisted in the splined area. Now it's a trail spare.

part of me doesn't want to talk someone out of a D60, but if that's the only problem the D30 is giving you an alloy shaft would be a LOT cheaper...allthingsoffroad said:
