Need a new power steering pump...
rebuild the oem for $30-$40 or Save for PSC's HD unit for $160?
Is the PSC all it's hyped up to be?
Or is the oem with a cooler added to it enough to turn 35's?
discuss and disect...
btw... Anybody know what's included in a rebuild kit?

My stock pump handles 33's and the Milemarker, with a cooler, no probs.

On kind of a related note, I discovered something about pumps between XJs and YJs. I'm doing an engine swap from a 92 YJ into a 92 XJ this weekend. The pumps appear to be identical, but the XJ as a pump mounted reservoir, the YJ uses a remote mounted reservoir. If you need a larger reservoir, it'd be nearly trivial to rig up with the YJ pump.
