Transmisson oil on the road in a turn lane and motorcycle, boy did that HURT and it was not the way I planned on starting a couple days off work. I have bruised hip, shoulder and 2 broken ribs, so its going to be awhile before I get to play or work, dr put a 5 lb limit and go easy for 2 weeks then we`ll see. And I`ve never had a broken bone and not be busy with something thats tough.

Well there old paint....... :)
I remember back when I was about 35 or 6 and ended up breaking 2 ribs while stationed in Japan. Took a very long time for those things to heal. It was like about 6 months before one morning I realized that it didn't hurt like it had been. And there isn't much they can do for those buggers as I'm sure you've found out by now.
Really sorry to hear about the accident. :( But as the addage goes, it isn't if you'll go down, it's just a matter of when. I used to ride, but it got to the point that it seemed like I'd have 3 near-death experiences every time I'd go out, so I sold the bike. I really miss it, but.........
So from one old fart to another, really glad to hear that you are still walking and capable of doing the dishes! :) Count your blessings!!! :)

Don't feel so bad. I am physically ready to go but can't afford it. Back to school for 6 sucks. Maybe I should have discovered rubbers sooner!

Bummer Howard.
They say that motorcycle riders have either gone down or will.
Maybe that's as bad an experience as you'll ever have. My hope is that it is.

There`s NO Place on Earth I`d rather be than here in the PNW.
I feel sorrow for those with lost loved ones.
