242 sye kit

i'm about to get a 4.5" kit for my XJ and i want the reassurance of an sye. i just can't find an sye kit for the NP242 anywhere. i can find a ton of them for the 231's. can anyone give me a link to a kit by chance? thank you.

Be prepared, there aren't many spare 242 t-case shafts around, so there's a $400 core charge on them.

i found a kit from rubicon express, but it says it's only for post 96 XJ's.

RE SYE (RE1801) for pre 96 will work on your 242. That's the first kit I ran, and mine's a 91.

But look into Tom Wood's kit too. He makes a good kit, and he's also a good neighbor.

Yep he's there alright. Just there down the street a couple of miles from my house. :thumbup:
