I love the Jeeps in action but the thing that stands out to me the most is the mountains and trees... After being in Kuwait for 4 months I was starting to forget what they looked like :wow: I will never take them for granted again!

Did most of the things that got good press here at NAXJA.

Custom long arms in front
Shortened HP44 to Waggy Width
Chevy brakes/5x5.5 conversion
Hy Steer
XJ 44 in the rear
Lowered shackles in the rear (made a big difference in flex) Just put on an S10 bastard leaf pack. We will see how well it flexs.
Tubing started out to just be sliders. Was having fun with the new tube bender, you can see the results.

no biggie, not tryin to start crap. i think it pretty cool to find my rig in the background of someone elses pic deep in a NAXJA thread. most of the time i am stuck with the yota's (they great, i built one of those 1st, but there are reasons that i wheel JEEP now).anyway, that day i was wit sum guy in a rubi n we stumbled on you three.another guy came up in a purple 2door xj after.i was overwhelmed n had a bad showing that day. took a strap from the rubi on the way up(made it up that many dif lines b4, evn wit only rear lokd), then up top i beat my rockers in like a rookie, only to snap the axle, not making it over the obstacle..a litl embarrassed, was a bummer. me chromos f/r/lokd f/r/beadlox/full cage now..(it's all bout evolution)..thanx for the reply, maybe we meet up on trail again someday..sure do miss Paragone..that place was one of the ONLY cool things about moving here(i live 20 minits away), then they took it away..........can't have nothin'

Nice pics. I went to Corral Canyon a few days after buying my stock XJ and put the first dent in it. I would love to go back now that it is lifted and protected, although it's not exactly and hour drive anymore.

yeah its my personal favorite. i still have yet to go there since my lift too. thats also where i gt my first dent, on the passenger rocker under the front door going up the escalator.

Yup its a zuk X90. Most people recognize them as the red bull cars because they used them for advertising a few years ago. The one in the pic doesn't have much zuk left in it. Yota axles, custom 3 and 4 link suspension with coils on all 4 corners, astro van steering box flat clocked, 1 ton steering, doubler tcase rollin on 35in LTB's. Its a beast and the guy that owns it built the entire thing.

It started life as a plain-jane Offroad Technologies bumper. I built the swing out tire carrier. It uses a Dana44 locking hub as a hinge. It's now owned by ColoradoRaptor (Ira).

That is Aaron's old rig. Once he got his white YJ he just let it sit there and along I came out of the blue. I have wheeled with Aaron a few times and have known him from the good old "Colorado XJ" days! I had to finish building it up though. He sold it to me on the cheap, but the rest of the build wasn't cheap. Here is a more recent picture though.

I like the tires I got them from a member here. Besides the chunking/lugs falling off it's a great tire on and off road! Hooks up well on the rocks and nice and smooth on the street. I think they are chunking cause they are old/dry rotting but they don't seem to wear on the street so they last that's for sure...

Kansas is flat but there are still great places to Jeep in to. I go through the Flint Hills regularly to find fishing hot spots that you can't get to with out a 4x4.
