Shims for budget boost?

I am going to be giving/helping to install my old Tomkin 2" budget boost on my sons, friends 99 XJ. But its been to long to remember if I had shims installed when I had it installed on mine. Does onyone have a 2" installed... and with what degree shims, if any. It will be on a 8.25 w/auto.

Is it a longer shackle or AAL? I put a RE AAL on my '99 and it required a 2.5* shim and t-case drop.

The reason I ask is I think a longer shackle would try to point the pinion up towards the t-case, so you would need a higher degree shim to force the joints back to parallel.

It's all probably academic anyway as it seems everybody's XJ is kind of unique when it comes to shims and driveline sensitivity.

In case it matters, mine has ABS so I believe that would be a D35
