FSM Question

Is there a single volume FSM for an 88? I’ve been looking for one but the ones I am finding are separated out. One for each different engine, each transmission, one for the transfer case, one for the FI, and so on. I have seen a single volume for the 89. Would the 89 FSM cover most of what I need for my 88? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't see why the one for the 89 wouldn't work on an 88.

I'm using one from an 88 on my 89. There may be some minor changes between years, but so far I haven't found anything.

I am getting rid of my 1989 Cherokee, as I was able to get a 1993 for a good price. I have a whole set of FSM <4 books I think> for my 1989 that I will get rid of. I have two of them, but need to find the other two.

Then I will be on the look out for a set for the 1993.

These things have saved me tons of money with my 1989 letting me work on it instead of bringing it in to the shop every time..
