Headlights are loose

Ok, I decided to install a hood liner in my 2000 xj and unkowingly put it over

the latches. I shut the hood and to my surprise i cannot open the hood. I

later find out that i can pop the hood if i remove the headlights and it

works. Now the headlights are loose and the shake all the time. How do i

fix this? it is just a matter of time before i hit a hole and the headlights pop

out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Are the springs re-attached to the light buckets? There is one on the bottom, and one on the side that "damp" any movement. I would check to make sure that they are still atached.

Ren , i do recall the springs but i didnt now where they came from. i have to find them now. Thanks
