aFTER A REUILT CARB OVER A YEAR AGO, i HAVENT HAD A LICK OF PROBLEM. i CUT THE CAT CONVERTOR OFF THOUGHT IT WAS ALL CLOGGED UP IT WAS BUT THATS NOT THE PROBLEM. iT SEEMS TO BE FLOODING ITSELF IF YOU ACCELERATE IT ITS OK, BUT AT IDLE IT WONT STAY THERE IT WILL DIE. I believe the only problem is the fuel. I have a new carb rebuild kit and a float, is there something like the float that could ave went bad. Right now Im just frustated with it, especially after it ran and well for so long.

Any ideas or help I would greatly appreciate it.

check the fuel filter and the fuel lines, and if not that then check the spark plugs if you have burnt one out!!!

The most common problem with the Carter YFA carb is a bad electrical connection on the ground side of the automatic choke.
